About This Quiz

Now over four decades ago, the 1980s were an interesting time for car lovers.

Many new models first saw the light of day during what many see as the decade of decadence, while popular old favorites were revitalized and modernized.

Many famous sports cars continued to dominate this decade, including one of the most famous ever to represent that legendary Italian marque with the prancing horse. Another, already produced in the '70s received further refinements that saw them remain popular, even though many had difficulty in saying the car's name!

And what about those regular, everyday cars? One of America's big three's most popular models' production run ended in 1980, while other big names in motoring in the country launched a number of successful new cars during the decade. It was also a time when foreign cars started to make a name for themselves in the United States. Smaller than their massive American counterparts, they appealed to those looking for a small, sophisticated vehicle.

Over in Europe, some of the classic European cars from the decade saw the light of day in both German and the United Kingdom, to name a few. These went on to launch a popular generation which still exists today.

But would you be able to identify these '80s models from just a single screenshot? This is a tough nut to crack, so good luck!
