They have a body-on-frame construction that allows a truck to haul and tow huge loads, so you can transport rock, a boat, large trailer, or whatever else without problems.

It takes a special person to recognize the value of something so utilitarian because trucks aren't always the sexiest vehicles out there. Still, they get the job done, day after day, and are an essential economic force. To their owners, trucks can be their livelihood or the way they get out and play hard.

This quiz will really test your knowledge of trucks both new and old. You get a single sentence that describes the model, and from that, you must pinpoint exactly which one it is. This isn't for the faint of heart or anyone who only knows the Ford F-150, Ram 1500, and Chevy Silverado.
