When we talk about the history of cars, a lot of people forget that cars came second. It was trucks that started everything. Ford's Model T was a truck, and most early vehicles would evolve into pickup trucks before people started scaling them down into smaller sedans, coupes and convertibles. So the history of trucks is a pretty proud one, and for good reason. They came into being as a means to an end, a tool to get work done on farms that was faster and more powerful than a horse and wagon like people had been using for so long. A 2019 Ram HD pickup can tow an astronomical 35,000 pounds! 

There are nearly as many kinds of trucks on the road as there are reasons to want to drive one. Some people need them to get their work done, to haul materials around a construction site or to deliver stuff that just can't fit inside of a car.
