Your first car says a lot about you. Hardly any of us had the first car that we really wanted, but still having that first vehicle of your own, really says a lot about who you are as a person and where you come from. And if your first car was all that you dreamed it would be, then that says a lot about who you are as a person as well; it also means the rest of us are jealous.

Now, we aren't talking about the first car that you drove. Sure, it was cool driving around in your dad's car at first, but that gets old after a while. Sooner or later you want your own wheels to drive, Who knows, maybe your folks got you a sweet ride for a graduation present, or maybe you saved up your pennies from a part-time job that you had in high school, or maybe your parents gave you one of their old cars when they were buying a new one. Either way, no matter how bad of shape that it was in, you know that you loved it - at least until it broke down and you had to pay that first repair bill.

A sort of spotty rusty theme - no idea what color it was originally, it had definitely had a layer or two put on it over the years.

Yes but I always mended them a few times first.

Was it the first car you always hoped you'd get?

Yes, it was a hunk of junk but I always knew one day, it'd be my very own hunk of junk.

Yes, I wanted to get another one just like it after I crashed it, but my mom was all, "Chad, you have to get something safer" and I was all, "MOM! UGH!" but then it was either that or no car, so, you know how parents are.

How did you feel about your second car, compared to the first?

It was like I went from Motel Six to the Ritz.

It was a slightly bigger and more fuel-efficient version of the same car.
